50 in 2012

If one goal is good, 50 is better, right? One of the things I miss most about being in school is constantly having a project to work on or something to cross off the to-do list. But I also have a lot more time to do things I've always wanted to do. So here are my list of things I'm going to accomplish in 2012. (I figure posting on the blog with give me some kind of accountability)

We're off to a great start! I've already finished three things and am working on some others. We even made 3 new recipes just this week. Just 37 more to go!

50 in 2012
  • read the Book of Mormon
  • stick to a monthly budget
  • attend the temple once a month
  • see a play
  • send birthday cards for every family member’s birthday
  • run a 5k
  • do yoga 2 times a week for 2 consecutive months
  • Try 40 new recipes
  • go a week without facebook
  • blog once a week for 3 months
  • floss every night for a month
  • write in journal once a month for a year
  • read Jesus The Christ
  • read President Monson’s biography
  • do visiting teaching each month
  • donate to a new charity
  • do a puzzle
  • develop a cleaning schedule
  • sew a piece of wearable clothing
  • attend four different temples
  • go on three new hikes
  • have a fully funded emergency fund
  • bake or make something for someone out of the blue each month for a year
  • take a class in something new
  • decorate a fancy cake
  • refinish a piece of furniture
  • watch 26 movies I’ve never seen starting with letters A-Z
  • have a planned date night twice a month
  • fly a kite
  • throw a party for someone
  • get a facial or pedicure
  • get a new passport
  • go to a sporting event you’ve never been before (swimming, hockey, rugby)
  • go geocaching
  • make breakfast in bed for Andre
  • climb a tree
  • join 5 new birthday clubs
  • go to a new state
  • read the constitution
  • write a missionary
  • Read 10 new books
  • Go on a trip with just André and I
  • Make 10 things off Pinterest
  • Do a healthy cleanse
  • Create a workout plan
  • Give André a good haircut
  • Do something new to my hair
  • Cross 5 things off the Utah bucket list
  • Make a grateful list of 5 things a day for a month
  • Track what clothes I wear and clean out the closet
