level up

this week we took André's education to a whole new level. After a while of saying he was going to law school, we finally out our money where our mouth is and got André signed up for an LSAT prep class before he takes the big test this summer. Turns out LSAT prep is expensive. Turns out preparing for the LSAT is a part-time job, so we're saying goodbye to our Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings together for the next 16 weeks.

And today we celebrated our brand new niece, sweet baby j. welcome to the world, baby girl.

And remember when my mom and grandma crashed a wedding? well they made it on Facebook.
good times Treasure ladies, good times.

...and just like that, this post took a turn for the random

friday favorites

things we are lovely in the Kaiser house this week:

No snow!

Our new Ikea rug. Its a beauty.

Having FHE on Tuesdays (André works Monday nights) and avoiding the Utah County Monday night crowd. This week we took advantage of our free bowling coupon. I bowled a respectable 43.

and this... we've caught each other singing this song throughout the week. Watch the tell me you don't want to go to Africa/Southern Utah/learn to play the cello.

50 in 2012

If one goal is good, 50 is better, right? One of the things I miss most about being in school is constantly having a project to work on or something to cross off the to-do list. But I also have a lot more time to do things I've always wanted to do. So here are my list of things I'm going to accomplish in 2012. (I figure posting on the blog with give me some kind of accountability)

We're off to a great start! I've already finished three things and am working on some others. We even made 3 new recipes just this week. Just 37 more to go!
